About Janine ...

Janine Mahalick was born in Chicago, Illinois, but when she was
just a toddler of 3 years old, her family moved to rural Illinois.  So,
Janine has always considered herself the city girl with a country
heart!

At seventeen years old, Janine walked into a little storefront church
and heard old time preaching and testifying for the first time in her
life .  She gave her heart to Jesus Christ and ever since that day
her life has never been the same!

Janine began to listen to Southern Gospel and Country Gospel
Music and quickly fell in love with the music and the message.  
With a heartfelt desire to reach out to souls with songs of great
hope, Janine began singing in church and traveling and singing in
the many revival meetings across the United States.

Married to a wonderful man of God, John Mahalick; they are
blessed with three sons and three daughter- in- laws.  Jim
Mahalick, the middle son had traveled nationally full-time singing
with The Hoskins Family for 5 years, but now is producing Christian
albums in his studio, Palace Studios, also doing solo dates and
singing with his Mom, Janine on various dates.

On the wings of her new recording, “Heavenly News”, Janine has
been blessed to have so many guests from the Southern Gospel
Music Field grace this project.  Lynda Randle from Bill Gaither
Homecoming Series, Chris Freeman of The Freemans, The
Reggie Saddler Family, Jim Mahalick, Sheri LaFontaine and more.  
Janine’s greatest desire is that these songs will touch the hearts
and lives of the people that listen and come to her concerts.

“I love people and I truly care about them.  “I had some very
difficult times in my life as a child.”  “I experienced the sorrows of
rejection and the anguish of being alone.”   “I believe God was
preparing me, so that I would understand people’s needs.”  My
signature song, “If I Can Help Somebody Along Life’s Way, Then
My Living Shall Not Be In Vain” tells it all.  My purpose in life is to
serve the Lord and bring as many people to heaven with me as I
can!
